Advertisment 10 – Facebook Ads Creation
Facebook Ads gives you a huge opportunity to get your ads to people you may not have been able to reach through other methods.
Similar to other platforms, you are able to target people by their locations, age and gender but with Facebook Ads you are also able to target people by their
likes, interests, relationship status, workplace and their education depending on your target audience.
When creating your first ad, you will have a choice of objectives. Whichever objective you chose will affect the rest of the settings when creating the ad to simplify the process. The objectives you will get to chose from are; Page Post Engagement, Page Likes, Clicks to Website, Website Conversions, App Installs, App Engagement, Event Responses and Offer Claims.
When writing ad there are three sections that need to be considered. The image will need to be eye catching and must relate to your copy. This will be the first thing your customers notice so make sure it is clear to see what it is. The headline will be the first bit of text your customer will see so make sure it captures their attention and makes them want to read more. The copy is where you will be explaining what you are advertising. Just remember these customers aren’t actively
looking for your service so make sure what you write will intrigue them.
The next step to creating your ad is choosing the target audience. As mentioned in the beginning, you can choose from location, age, gender, interest & categories, connections, customer audiences and advanced.
When setting your daily budget you will need to make sure you are comfortable spending that amount each day as that will be your spend limit on your campaign each day. There will be a separate budget for each of your campaigns you run and the ad will keep running until the daily budget has been met.
