Get yourself a Facebook Makeover!

Facebook is making changes to your customisation options and their latest updates aren’t available to everyone yet but this is what we can expect:

Pre-made templates that will optimise your page based on the type of service you provide. These are the current ones they are offering:

• Standard
• Shopping
• Venues
• Gaming
• Politicians
• Professional Services
• Restaurants & Cafes

If you go to your settings and then click ‘Edit Page’ and you see the below screenshot you have been given access to the new update and so can jump straight into updating your page.

Each template gives you tabs along the side of your Facebook page which can still be re-ordered to your liking and once you have chosen your template you can choose a specific call to action that will sit under your cover photo.

The middle column can also be changed so that instead of a chronological column similar to the News Feed, you are able to choose one that displays whatever you wish at the very top.

If you do have access make sure you take full advantage of these new changes and upgrade your page including your profile picture and cover photo. Theme your page when you can; for example when it’s Valentine’s Day, Christmas or Halloween, this makes your page fun and inviting. Updating your page regularly with new content will draw in more views and likes which is never a bad thing!
