Milton Keynes… The UK’s latest Gigabit City. In short, broadband in MK is expected to be around 100 times faster than the UK’s average for schools, businesses and colleges. Earlier this month, the project was revealed to the Citizen newspaper and transpires that it involves over 160km of pure fibre network throughout Milton Keynes. That is a LOT!

This year, employment growth is expected to hit 4.7%, making Milton Keynes one of the fastest growing cities in the UK. Not to mention being recognised as one of the leaders in the developing and promoting of ‘Smart City Technology’ with initiatives like ‘MK:smart’ and ‘MK DataHub.’
