COVID-19 Statement: Transformation, safety, support and growth
Planning for the future, safe guarding our team and supporting our clients
It has been over two months since we initially outlined and began the delivery of our COVID-19 response. The pandemic has had a global impact, both in terms of the loss of life and financial impact to many. There have been many businesses who have felt the struggles during this time and those who will have been affected long-term.
123 Internet Group are thankful that the majority of our long standing client base have continued their retained services, in some cases increased their marketing investments and we have also been able to support new customers during this time.
As an established agency we have done what we can to support those organisations who needed additional support by introducing various schemes including fully subsidised access to SproutSocial, extended credit terms for new projects and a range of support including a podcast series highlighting local businesses, kids boredom activities packs and useful Zoom background downloads to mention a few.
Safeguarding our team and maintaining culture
Here at 123 Internet Group, we have put in place a number of measures to safeguard our team, starting with remote working which was introduced right at the start of the pandemic. Alongside our transparent approach and regular communication, we’ve been able to maintain our family-like culture.
We’ve have provided on-going and in-depth advice to our team on hygiene and safety, together with moving all meetings to video conferencing. Our experience of remote working and investment in cloud-based tools/software/technology has allowed us to continue our day-to-day work as normal and has zero impact on our services or the support we continue offer our customers.
The management team have been focused on our team’s well-being and mental health. With this in mind, we have been holding regular video calls and asking that they participate with regular activities such as bingo, quizzes and informal nights-in.
By and large, business has continued inline with our plans and projections – we’ve even seen a rise in the number of online enquiries from organisations who have taken to social media and those reviewing their digital marketing strategy for a post-Covid-19 bounce back.
Growing customers through support and advice
Since the lock-down we know many organisations have been worrying about the future and how they can bounce back. The global impact on businesses has been profound – the prospect of the on-going increased social distancing could mean entirely new ways of working and of course, communicating with others.
At 123 Internet Group, we’ve been supporting our existing clients as well as helping to support new enquiries with the right digital marketing strategy, advice and guidance for a post-COVID-19 future.
With the gradual relaxation of social distancing and the announcement(s) of the reopening of businesses over the coming weeks, we want to assure you that 123 Internet Group will be here to support your business as much as we can.
Safety first: A new flexible future with multiple office reopening
Inline with Government guidance, 123 Internet Group are proud to announce the re-opening of our second office alongside the established head office based in Milton Keynes to support workplace distancing as our team begins to return.
The past few weeks have been spent upgrading and investing in our dual locations in Milton Keynes with the required refurbishments and installation of signage and safety equipment including desk guards. There is no rush, but with on-going consultation with our team, we will be welcoming back to both office locations over the coming month ahead but remain focused on the flexible remote working offering we already support.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our team, suppliers and clients and very much look forward to a strong and positive future together.
Take care, be safe.
